Auto Racing Suits
Time to get off my rear and get safety gear for our Chump/Lemons races. Where did all you track junkies get your stuff?
The Lemons site offers a 'LeMons-Legal Significantly Better "Everything" Kit' for $800:

Is this a decent deal? Any recommendations on DFW area shops?

If you plan to do more than one, consider this:
Suit:
Get a suit with a mesh liner, boot cut legs, elastic in the back, double stitching, should be ultra-stylish
Goves:
Ever tried externally stitched gloves? I tried the on and had to buy them, A* make the cheapest externally stiched glove and they are good, the OMP ones are better but more expensive
Socks:
Get two pair of cheap ones
Balaclava:
Get one that fits around your neck, not one that drapes down, that shit get's old.
I sprung for the A* stuff because I planned to wear it more than once. After I compared them to the other suits I was looking at like the Sparco Jade and the Chinese Ultrashield/Gforce/Simpson/Pyrotech, it's clear that A* is more than just buying a logo. You can measure yourself and shop online with confidence on the A* stuff, everything checked-out on my stuff and another friend's stuff.

Get the best suit you can afford. Don't skimp here--the better ones are much more comfortable that than the entry-level stuff.
