Help get this sold.....
Here is the deal, Between y'all and me, If anyone on here refers someone that ends up buying this car, I'll give you $40.
My brother in law is selling his old Z71 Tahoe to help pay for their renovation realities home. It's a 2003 with 168k miles, albeit the majority of those were racked up going back and forth between Fort Worth and Lubbock. It has leather seats, and is almost as clean as my Miata.... and that is pretty clean.
He is asking $8250, but that is negotiable. He needs this sold.

I am waiting for clarification on 1) is it the LS or LT model, 2) is it the V8 4.8 or 5.3 Engine 3) does it have the towing package.
You can PM me with questions, or with contact info, or call him (Steven) directly at Eight Zero Six- Four Four One- One Eight Seven Eight

FWIW, looks like an LT since it has leather. It should also have the 5.3 since I don't think you could even get the little motor with a 4x4. Does it have receiver hitch under the bumper? Can't tell if it's got the tow package without a nice shot of the rear...
A VIN would be nice if you could get it. I don't know anyone offhand but I'll mention it to my old man - he might know somebody looking for such a beast.

It is the LT with the 5.3 and the towing package. I thought as much, but I didn't want to mis represent. Getting the vin shouldn't be an issue. Any and all help is appreciated.
Would make a great Miata tow vehicle.........

I am looking for a tow vehicle but unless I am missing something KBB has the price much lower than his asking price.
-
Asking is more than kbb for 168k. Most of the miles were accumulated from tcu to lubbock, so asking price was set closer to a vehicle with 120k. Plus, it is negotiable. I honestly think you could knock $500 to $750 off his price, but I'm speculating.

miles is miles and trying to sell a vehicle today will not get you close to what it would even a year ago.
Everything has taken a dump in resale value.
Well except for guns and ammo and precious metals.
He's probably better off keeping it, or tradding it, or coming down to a realistic "tooday's" market price.
