Many companies that provide employees with vehicles have started installing cameras, especially in Europe. I think the idea is that you are more likely to drive right, if you know your boss can pull your camera footage. I think some insurance companies in other countries also offer discounts if you have in-car video.
In Russia, people install dash cams because too many people throw themselves in front of slow moving cars and claim they were run over. That way they have footage to defend themselves with in court. Probably the same in some parts if Europe as well.
Note to self, don't drive 80mph in snow.
And i'm also thinking those commie cars don't exactly hold together very well do they?
most of it will buff out.
