Looking to sell my track Miata and buy another...plus Finder's Fee
I've been thinking for a while about switching up the automotive stable, but haven't really made a concrete step towards that. So, to get the proverbial ball rolling, I'm putting my car out there for sale. Haven't posted it on any website or CL yet, but here's a quick run-down in case any of you might know someone looking for a fun, quick, reliable track toy that could be daily driven if needed:
'94 red Miata 120K miles? (need to verify)
Stock engine with MP45 supercharger, Powercard. Pulled 175HP/155TQ ish last time on dyno
Upgraded bracket and pulley
TDR A/A intercooler
Gauges for A/F, boost, and water temp
ACT clutch
RB midpipe and Roadster exhaust
Tein Flex coilovers, 8K/6K springs
RB/FM sways bars with end links
Sport brakes up front, stock brakes in back. Track pads.
Homemade brake ducts
Triangulated strut tower brace
Hard dog roll bar
Hard dog door bars
'99 soft top with glass window (perfect condition but not installed)
Momo steering wheel (no airbag)
Aftermarket pedals
A/C and power steering still installed and operational
NO radio
NO passenger airbag installed (think I still have it in the attic)
I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of little items. Probably would want $6800 as is sits with 195/50-15 Toyo T1-Rs on Rota wheels. Additionally, I'd sell the hard top for $1000. And 15x9" 6ULs with Nitto NT-01s with 50% tread left for $700? So $8500 gets everything including whatever spares (rotors, pads, take-off bits) I have. Will easily run 1:28s at MSR and low 1:30s at Hallett (Many of you have seen it pass you ;)). It's a fun track toy, but on the Toyos and soft suspension setting, it's as cushy as a Buick on the street. Paint is pretty decent for a car of its age. Interior is in great condition.
Also, I'm LOOKING for an NC Miata to replace the NA above (and probably the 135i). Let me know if you have a lead on:
2006-2010 NC (prefer '08, '09 MY)
Must be white, blue or dark gray., with black interior.
6-speed only.
Prefer low mileage, but condition and maintenance records trump that.
LSD strongly preferred but not a deal-braker
Bonus points if it comes with a removable hard top.
I'm offering 3 sessions at MSR (including helmet and suit rental) for anyone that finds me the ultimate buyer for my '94 or the referral to any NC I might end up buying.
I can provide photos of my car upon request. Just don't have any up on a server to link to right now. Any questions--let me know! Thanks.
