I'm going through my tools and trying to get rid of stuff I will not need.
I have a table saw and compound sliding miter saw and now I don't see the point in having my hand held circular saw. Is there any benefit in hanging onto my circular saw?

A REAL man will always have a circular saw in his tool box.
Yes again.
Seriously, I dont use mine very often since I have a table saw, miter saw, jig saw, sawsall. hand saw and rotozip. I could do without it, its handy when cutting sheets of plywood but I could do it with another saw if I had to.
I have been interested in that small saw that has the two opposing circular blades. I forgot whag it is called though.

I use my circular saw regularly... it's portable too...
The point is portability, and it doesn't take up much room to store.
keep it.............
Keep it. I use mine all the time and I do have a table saw as well.
yes. next time you need to cut a 4'x8' sheet into a 4'x4' sheet you'll miss the circular saw.
Personally, I have only cut about 2 full sheets of plywood in the last 10 years. I am not giving up my circular saw, but I could live without it.
The circular saw is great for buffing light scratches out of your paint.
At least hang on to it through the move. too many outdoor projects where a quick cut is all you need.
