I had a Wildflower back in the day. I enjoyed sailing, well all expect the sunburns.

Nothing like a square boat that calls itself a duck...
Back in Florida we have a Catalina 18.
The two happiest days of boat ownership are the day you bought it and the day you sold it.
Enjoy the new boat!

Unlike my previous boat (Catalina 22), this one will be stored on the side of my house standing up, and will only travel back and forth to White Rock Lake in the bed of my truck. No money pit here. Did I mention that I spent less than the cost of a single RS3? :)
Lol. J-boats are the shit. I used to crew for a J24, and they feel like they are going 100 mph.
Since WRL averages about 6' in depth, I'm not overly concerned. If it sinks, I'll just walk back to shore.
OK. Seriously. WTF did you buy? No pics, never happened, etc.
J-boats are slow! I raced them in the '80s. They are fun, but only when raced against other J-boats. Their biggest advantages are low maintenance and big classes.
I did a couple seasons on a Melges 24 and went to Nationals on it. That is a kick ass small boat.
