I just asked the question on their Facebook group.
I just saw on the their Facebook page, they are moving it to Pennington Field in Hurst/Euless/Bedford.
Most awesome. Concrete goodness, and a Starbucks across the street. Color me bewildered.
Uh...didn't Pennington price themselves out of the market?

PMS never left the market.
Their insurance requirements are too high for ER and NTAXS, so only SCCA, BMW, and PCA can run there.
The construction has limited the size of the grid and paddock, so it is currently too small for SCCA to use because we could not park anywhere.
That leaves PCA and BMW for now. Assuming they return the lots to their original use when construction is complete, then hopefully the SCCA will return too.
According to Google maps there are several parking lots around there. Which one will they be using? How does this lot compare to TMS size wise?
Of the three large parking lots at PMS, autocrossers use the northeastern lot for autocrossing.
Use Google Maps to compare the size.
About 25% shorter on the long end and 5-10% shorter on the short end than TMS.

Looks like TMS is 460,000 sqft Pennington & Mesquite are 280,000 sqft ... so about 60% the size of TMS. Guess the times will be in the 30's ... let me re-phrase that ... the winning times will be in the 30's ... mine substantially higher.
The usable portion of PMS is much smaller now....figure ~40% of TMS.
There is a chain link fence across the first three rows of parking spots. I found that the superintendent of HEB ISD has been replaced so maybe the new guy will be more autocross friendly.
