Why didn't people sign up for the Pro Tape PAX Challenge?
I'm just curious - $50 for a guaranteed 6 runs (and possibly a 7th run), a free t-shirt, and a well run, closed entry event (no need to spend the day with 236 of your closest friends) sounded like a great deal to me, even for those who didn't think they stood a chance of taking home any money.
I mean, there are a lot of people on this board who pay an extra $10 to run PAX runs with little chance of winning (especially those on street tires), yet that doesn't seem to stop anyone.
Why so little interest in this event?

I only run PAX at ER because it was part of the yearly deal. I once went to a SCCA Divisional on street tires. That was enough. :?
