ugh.........becareful if you go to the car wash, the high pressure wand can damage the fins on the A/C condenser.
I use a toilet brush to clean the condenser or radiator fins. Cheap and easy.
FWIW - We have found over the years that our grill has helped keep the bigger bugs and vermin from loading up the condenser. ;)

...for the bugs on the bodywork, try washing with a Dryer Sheet!! Amazing results.
I experienced the same crazy grasshopper carnegie on the front of our Mazda 3 a few weeks ago in west Texas.
I had one just like that but it was causing my car to run warm. After I took it off I blew a leaf blower thru it and was surprised how much it reduced the airflow.Quote:
