FS - Chevy Silverado ext cab V8 5MT tow rig, totally updated!
I'm listing my truck for sale. Besides being a really solid truck that's been in my family since new, it was owned for a year by the now-famous car builder DavidSS, who did a bumper-to-bumper updating as he prepped it for two duty. He used it for a race season towing his STS CRX coast-to-coast. Never failed to start or left him stranded once in 30k miles. The only things I've needed to do since I bought it back last year is replace the battery and a thermostat. This truck is better than many trucks 10 years newer, and still gets 20 mpg on the highway. I've averaged 12-14 even when towing, and I have David's mileage records backing that up. If you need a nice to drive truck that can do a little bit of everything, is completely up-to-date on service and is affordable and easy to maintain, drive and insure, take a look. Never been wrecked, and has stacks of receipts and records, FSM, spares,
etc.
