The Hallett Appreciation Thread
There are several folks I want to thank for this last weekend.
First and foremost is Connie and the entire Hallett family for putting on a fantastic event and not only keeping the tradition alive but promising it will continue on for 25 years! Connie said it! We all heard it. I'm holding her to it!
The Arkansas Miata Club for starting the tradition. Where would we be without you?
Jovany (gmrlocal1) for his dedication and long hours helping me get my car ready with an engine swap, diff bushings and a bunch of other stuff. A true friend and I REALLY appreciate all your hard work.
Gary (trackdog) for his help in tuning my megasquirt PnP2 as well as the use of the shop for the aforementioned work.
Jerome (jdcanadian) for leading us safely to Hallett in torrential rain with no top. What a trooper (or idiot) ;) Also, thanks for the Chili's discount and great company throughout the weekend.
Gabe (gabkwong) for the ride to the hotel on Friday night so I could leave my car at the track. Also had a blast hanging out all weekend.
Rick (trickyrix) for the ride to the track Saturday morning and for making me laugh and just being a good friend. Sorry you weren't feeling well Friday. I missed dicing it with you out on the track. Next year com-padre!
Brett (grocery getter) for trying Hallett out. You are now part of the family. It was great hanging with you and getting to know you better.
Andy (???) White NB TDR customer (...and I think forum lurker?) for some great times playing chase on the track. Great times!
Doug (cone-cerned) for the great gift for my daughter. His wife, Zona made Katie an Allen Eagles cheerleader outfit to wear at the football games! Awesome! I definitely got daddy brownie points for that one.
Leilani Jan (???) for her photography which I can't wait to see! hint! hint! She always has a warm smile and hug for ya. Her only fault is marrying jrj512 but hey, we can't all be perfect. ;)
I know I probably forgot someone. My apologies. It was a great weekend as usual but it's the friendship that keeps me coming back. It's not just "another track day". See y'all for the next 25 years!
