Howdy all
It's been suggested that I write an intro, so here goes. :D
My name is Chris, and I'm a Miataholic. Heh heh. Actually, I'm back in the Miata scene unofficially because I'm driving a 96M that's on loan to me from a relative who had basically quit driving it- it had sat in a garage for ~4 months without moving, which was such a shame that I had to take action. :)
I'm a prior owner of a 94R and a 99 Sport and I used to be a frequent participant in the North Texas autox scene, although that's been put on hold since I had kids. I am thinking of buying a cheap Miata project, or negotiating the purchase of this one- I used to be a hard-core autox, light weight, who needs power anything type of guy, but I'm older now, and gosh darnit, I LIKE the power steering, power windows, nice stereo, etc. on the M-Edition- and the paint color is SOOO nice. Might just stick with this one.
As you can tell, I like BS'ing about cars. :D
Talk to y'all soon!

Welcome aboard!
And if your aquaintance cares to sell the loaner, you'd better jump fast before someone else here does! :D

Welcome Chris!
Glad you made your way over to the forum. We do get-togethers (called GTGs) as well as tech days if you need to do maintenance on your car.
BTW: You may want to read the post on aligator hide as we get a little nutty at times ;)

Hey Chris, I remember you! Don't recall the color of your car, but I do recall you were a pretty darn good driver. I finally bit the bullet and bought one myself... These guys are nuts but you'll get used to them. Hope to see you at the SCCA autox at Pennington Field on the 24th.
