Road trip! Spokes SW Divisional - Pearsall, TX June 10-12

Anyone up for a road trip in June? Spokes and Lone Star Region of the SCCA are hosting the first 2005 SW Divisional event at the Avon Tires testing facility in Pearsall, TX.

So where the hell is Pearsall? A little less than an hour southwest of San Antonio:

This event should be a lot of fun. It's being co-chaired by two Miata pilots and members of this board - dan (Dan Pedroza, of ubercharged green SM2 Miata fame), and imok (Greg Ward, Outlaw, accomplished CSP driver, and all around good guy). The course designs are by Roger "The Real" Johnson, who is responsible for countless memorable courses at various Texas SCCA National Tours as well as the 2003 Solo II National Championships in Topeka, KS.

Dunno yet. I'm still trying to convince this bunch of mama's boys that they should get out and see the world occasionally. Broaden their horizons. Travel long distances to spend all day standing in someone else's parking lot for a change. :mrgreen:

If I/we/whoever does go, I imagine we'll head down there Friday afternoon.
