kids soccer stuff
My 4yo son is about to start soccer again. Before I go and buy new cleats and shin guards, I figured I'd see if anyone had some lying around that their kids had outgrown. He's on the small side, and wears a size 10 shoe (for the next few months!) Also, is there a style of shin guards that seem to be best/worst for this age?

Wish we could help - we donated everything Colin had grown out of to one of his teammates early last season.
I like the "stirrup" style shin guards that have to be pulled on over the foot like a sock and have a Velcro strap around the top. They stay where they are supposed to and don't need to be adjusted like the slip in kind.

The "stirrup" style shin guards usually have ankle protection on them, which is always a plus with younger kids.

if you can get them to wear the stirrup style it would be best. my daughter wouldnt, so we ended up with simple velcro on pumas. I dont have anything your size. I recommend premier soccer over on harry hines just south of forest. they have all price ranges, and the best variety of shin guards. the pricing is very good as well.
