Discussing this event with Clovis at the tour, he indicated that it is truly a social event/photo taking trip. It should be a great opportunity to meet S2K guys and the BMW crowd, both of which are populated with interesting people.
If the weather is going to be super peachy keen on the 24th, I'd probably still lean toward a Talimena run myself...
