Edit: do you have one of the old style non-power antenna's too? Mine has a power unit the works...sort of. Mast is up about 3/4s of the way but doesn't retract.

FWIW the Power Antenna Mast is pretty darn easy to replace. BTDT recently on our '02.
I don't think I have a manual mast, but I'm sure I can locate one. I do have an excellent condition NB power antenna if you want to try and fit that. Shoot me a text or pm and we can work out details.
