Best way to reattach trunk emblem?

I need to stick the mazda emblem back on my trunk. I have some 3m automotive trim tape, should I just cut a couple of small pieces to tack the emblem back on?

That works if you can trim it neatly. There is also a 3m product for weatherstripping that works well.

You worried someone may not know its a Mazda?? ;-)

I've used RTV for the same purpose. Put on whatever you want to stick on, put some masking tape over it so it has something to hold the weight until it drys. Have had a small reflector on my Mustang done like that for years.

I think I have some of that 3M trim adhesive if you want to stop by on your way to work sometime. I'll give you your tranny jack back too! ;)
