Stop Leak for Oil??

The Stranger has an annoying little slow drip out of the front main seal. Leaks make me cray cray....

Of course to fix the leak I'd need to disco the Power Steering and A/C Bracket, Pull the Radiator, Fan, Belts, Timing Belt Covers, Timing belt, and lower pulley to get to the seal. Much like a Miata.

So while doing that you might as well replace the water pump upper cam seal, timing belt and its related accouterments.

Currently I don't feel like investing that much time in the Stranger. Plus is is currently running pretty decent and the sage advice from My Grandfather Harrison keeps coming to mind, "If it works don't fuck with it". ;)

Anyone have any luck with any stop leak product??

Other than seal conditioners, all the leak-stop products I've personally encountered do more harm than good, as they "stop leaks" in the small passages as well as genuine leaks, which is BAD for motors. Water, PS, oil, etc, they all seem to be last ditch efforts for a vehicle that won't ever be fixed properly (and this will die soon anyway.)
