Hey, I'm going to phase one on Friday the 27th and I was wondering if anyone else was going?
Also, do any of you autoX veterans have any tips to get the most out of my day of driving instruction.
Thanks in advance. :salut:

Go with an open mind. Don't get to hung up on the over all times. Hit a few cones. The slalom part is just as important as the rest of the course. Have fun.
I ran Phase one a year or so ago with Andy Hollis and learned a ton...
Basically just take what they say to heart and at least try it... I know I had some of the "oh I know how to do this part" in my head and kinda tuned out what they were telling me...
then after a while I actually tried what they said and it worked even better...
Best advice is just show up and pretend you don't know sheit and go from there. It'll be a blast!
Wax your car before you go... Especially rocker panels and fenders... My car is still scarred from Evolution.
Thanks for the advice. I'm really looking forward to the course. Hopefully I'll learn a lot.
TC, no problem, cone rash just adds character! :thumrigh:
A man after my own heart. :mrgreen:Quote:

I'm really looking forward to it. I never did an evolution school before but I have heard very good things about them. I just wish it wasn't in Mineral Wells.
Yeah, I agree. I wish it was a little closer to town.
