Is this for the front or rear?
Front
Isn't the 1.6/1.8 bar a little different or am I thinking of the na/nb thing?
Yes, the 1.6 and 1.8 bars are slightly different at the end to accommodate different end links. But, it's easy enough to put a 1.8 bar on a 1.6 if you are using adjustable end links. I've got the thick-wall "racing" version of the 1.8 bar on my 1.6 car with 1.6 arms.
New here and to Miata's. Wouldn't adding this to a stock Miata induce even more understeer than it has from Factory? So it wouldnt be advisable for autox without a bigger rear sway correct?
You wouldn't run a bar like this without having made other changes to the suspension as well, in most situations.Quote:

What about bilsteins with GC sleeves and and springs 440/330 I think. Then would the upgraded bar be applicable?
It would work well with that setup. If you want something a bit softer run the 1.6 solid bar. You dont really want to mess with the rear bar on a miata for solo. You will likely find no rear bar better with a fat bar at those lower rates in solo.
