I drove the miata to the office today and asked Jimmy to help me diagnose a clanking sound coming from the right front tire. His professional opinion is that its the lower ball joint. The part looks to be bolt on. Have you guys replaced this on an NB? I'm going to attempt this weekend and it looks like it is just a bolt on.
What am I in for?

I've got the HF tool for removing the ball joint from the spindle that you're welcome to borrow. just don't take the spindle nut all the way off when separating them as they can come off with a lot of force (ask me how I know).
Gracias senor.... Jimmy said he was going to bring a few tools to work today. If he did, i won't need it. If he didn't, I'll goto HF and get one as I don't plan on fixing both sides at this time.
