No, we can't run our Miatas in the competition, but we can work the event and get some non-competition runs in at the fabulous autocross resort in Mineral Wells. They are billing it this year as "test-n-tune" runs, so I'm not sure if it'll be the same format as last year, where workers ran in their own timed non-competition index class.
The cost for workers is only $25, but you do have to actually work. A lot. It's course work (mainly) for the two days of the CAM challenge. And we all know what that's like around here in June.
But there are no other autocrosses scheduled for that weekend, and a two week dry spell would be a bummer, right? So sign up as a worker. What else are you going to do?
