Equipe Rapide Challenge Cup #10 Nov 5th Lone Star Park (Charity Event)

We will be supporting Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas again this year. Our finale autocross on November 5th will have all proceeds donated to Guns and Hoses. We will also have cone buy back for $5 per cone. PAX winners are encouraged to donate their cash winnings to Guns and Hoses. You can also stuff cash in the boot if you like. Last year we raised $4000.... I hope we can do more for the first responders this year.
The Guns and Hoses challenge event is a blast. Teams of firefighters and police square off against each other on the autocross course driving squad cars. This year we will have two police and two fire on each team. The teams will represent their city. There will be five teams this year. Grapevine, Garland (2), Grand Prairie, and Mesquite. Each team will be assigned a coach. Our coaches this year are Phil Osborne, Steve Eberlein, Andy Cost, Sherrie Ledbetter, and Paul Kurtz.
I hope you can make it out to cheer for your favorite team or coach and donate your time and money to a good cause.

It looks like the Guns and Hoses crew will be bringing out the grill again for burgers and hotdogs. There will be a mix of Chevy SS police cars and Dodge chargers. We might have a Tahoe to evaluate for rollover risk as well for next year. Come on out and place your bets on Chevy vs Dodge and city vs city. Buy some downed cones or just stuff money in the boot. It is for a good cause.
