Also should this "E" stand alone on the pulley on the left? I need to crank the motor around to see if I can get the cams to line up.

If you want, turn it some more and the marks should line up. However, on the intake cam, the e is in the Southeast position, The I on the exhaust cam is in the southwest position, and those corespond to marks on the head. The I on the intake cam and the e on the exhaust cam will point straight up at that point also.
That's clean. It just looks like you use dino oil and it tends to leave things a golden color. No black sludge build up which suggests poor maintinance.Quote:
