I was coming home today from Austin, and my speedo quit! So, of course I'm thinking my new tranny has a problem with the speedo gear.....Fortunately the problem is a busted speedo Cable. Hiley Mazda wants $90 for one and they have to order it.
Anyone know of a CB deal on a speedo Cable?

Hmm I had to replace mine last year and I want to say it was only half that. You may want to look into why it broke. Mine was routed to close to the exhaust and it melted, so yours may be similar. Use some of the heat blanket material that you used on your water heater lines to insulate it.
And another one bites the dust. This morning, I wasn't 1/4 of a mile away from the house, so the car really wasn't warmed up, doing about 35mph and I watched it just drop to zero. No to go out and see if it melted or what. Calling Merv, calling merv, you got one?
