Now thats just insane.. At first when i read the topic i was expecting it to be that Carrera GT that ive been spotting around Cresson and Granbury and coming in and out of/parked at TMS, but thats still horrible news..

Yeah, there was some info about that on the Maverick PCA mailing list. Apparently the passenger was a Lamborghini owner who was thinking of buying a Carrera GT, and wanted to see what they were like on the track. A Ferrari was released from the pits right in front of the GT (which was decelerating from approximately 150mph), and the driver of the GT impacted the wall while trying to avoid the Ferrari.

A sad day indeed. My prayers are with both families. :sad:
