It would be a blast... I just can't see paying 3 large for the setup! Hell, the BUR didn't cost that much!

That was my initial thought too until you think about the parts :


Well a used 99/00 motor will cost $1000-1500 on ebay(that is what the Mazdaspeed has)

A cheap turbo system is $2000

Intercooler setup - $700 - 1000

Plus you get a 6speed trans, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, and uncut wiring harness. throw in the ECU, and your done.

Well, when you break it down like that... it's still too much for this cheap bastard!! :smurf:

Chris, why don't you pick this one up? Selling the 11:1 motor, the junk yard 99 motor, the worked head, the 6 speed, and the BRP turbo would pay for it, and get you the money you invested in the 11:1, junkyard, and short block back. All this while giving you a turbo AND OEM. :twisted:
