My no driving butt went to Kennadale tonight.

I got 2 runs in before the rain, and I missed 3rd gear both times :banghead:

Times were like this

R/T .419 .173
60' 1.997 2.426
330 5.712 6.495
MPH 59.69 59.10
1/8 9.059 9.926
MPH 71.97 69.23

I'm thinking If I can get my launch down and acutally use 3rd gear strait from 2nd I should be able to get in the low 8's.

Hey there,

Let me know next time you plan on going to Kennedale and I will try to make it. I will even try to get my brother to bring his Miata as well. If you can let me know at the beginning of the week you plan to go and I will make arrangements to try and go.

Yea, I wanted to post here before I went but it was such a last minute decision that I figured no one would be able to read the post in time to make it out there.

I'll be out of town the next couple of weekends, but I'll be ready to try again when I get back.

So a 1.8 engine with a Turbo get will get you into the low 8's huh.. I would be happy with a 9 sec miata..

What does a 9 second 1/8 mile time translate into as far as 1/4 mile?

A 9 sec car in the 1/8th would be a 14 sec car in the qaurter..

A 9 sec car in the Quarter would be pretty much unstreetable for a driver..
The fastest daily drivers iv seen her low 11s..

My other Miata would do 9.7 in the 1/8th and 14.9 in the 1/4. This one is quite a bit faster.
