I may drive like an ameture, but I don't have to look like one.
Where do you guys get your cool little magnetic stick-ons. I need numbers, classification lettering, and of course my Company Logo, as the company gets the bill :D

Yep, Larry and ProTape do pretty good work.
Thay can also design custom graphics for your car if you really want to make it stand out...
Thanks guys, I called Larry, then sent him an e-mail with logo info.
Cool, I'll bet I'm a good four seconds faster next time
Is there someone that assigns numbers for you to use or do you just pull them out of your goatse?
RJ
goatse, aslong as someone hasnt pulled the same number out first.
Thanks!
Is there a master list somewhere or is it like 2 women showing up in the same dress?
RJ
That’s why a lot of folks like myself run a 2-digit number along with two spare 0's it gives you some variables.Quote:

One good way to see if someone has your # is to look at the results from a previous event.
In some clubs there is a master list, and - as POS pointed out - you can pre-pay for the year and lock in your number with some clubs (SCCA, ER, NTS2kOC). With the rest it is first come, first served.Quote:

The reason I'd suggest ones instead of zeros is just in case you ever get serious about autocrossing and decide to go to a Divisional, Tour, or ProSolo. If you do, and you want to have a co-driver, they (or you) have to run 100 + their number. For example, 42 & 142, which is what tailchaser & I used at the Houston Tour. Having the ones already means not having to buy another pair of numbers if that situation ever arises.
