PICS! Offset plate bracket & protective grill installed

Ok, got everything set and got the plate all put on at lunch today and snapped a couple pictures.... (ok, the grill is sorta invisible in those shots.. I'll get better ones later)

Anyway, that's the trackdog grill, and the TUckin99 offset front liscence plate braket I picked up from RSpeed ( http://www.rspeed.net/miata/ )

I still think the plate doesn't look well, but I've already had one ticket for no front plate, so begrudgingly, now it's installed.. At least it doesn't block anything important.

The bracket took a bit of minor editing to get the way I wanted it, but it works, and that wasn't hard... You can also see where I trimmed the grill to fit around the tow hooks. (and kinda glad I did now that the plate bracket mounts to them ;) )

soon after - Continue steering colum boost gauge install. I got a 2nd colum shroud to cut up and get to fit exactly how I want, just waiting for teh gauge to get here...

and that ticket was in teh Rx7 a few year ago... But They've really started cracking down in some areas in Dallas at night... I've known at least 4 peopel who've gotten no front plate tickets in Carrolton/Dallas/Addison/Farmers Branch/Lewisville area in the past month or two...

Just trying not to be one of them.
