Extremely Bad!!! Bring it by our place if you like and we can check it further with a gauge, but if it is really noticeable then park it! I have a friend that has 2 '99 Miatas he purchased at the same time and at the time they were check through the Miata recall he did not have that many miles on it so not an issue.
We pulled the engine in one of his cars a couple of months ago and the engine was destroyed! Worse however is we checked his other car and it has more than normal play as well, a time bomb waiting to happen. If you really think you have a problem, please let me know. I can smell a lawsuit brewing over this. Mazda says they are not warranting anymore now, but I think lawyers can change that.
