What the hell is that in the gauge cluster? Other than that, seems like a dumb idea. Slow, and it isnt like the miata is slicing through the air.
It could be fun ::Shocked:
Couldn't they have gone with red? Why mess with the best color out there? There aren't many rare Mariner blues left...
ugh.
Well if you think about it this is probably the best lightweight car to make an electric car out of. One of my cross-country motorcycle trips I stop ed at Corbin who make an electric commuter car. It was quit and peppy, but the whine of the motor was annoying, not sure if I would want to live with that sound. We have all heard it before in a golf cart, just amplified as the speeds went up.

I like electric car tinkerers. I just wish they'd stop using conventional drive trains and bolt motors straight to the hubs. Think how much fun a 2200 pound Miata with a 20kw motor at each corner would be!
Umm... ponderous?Quote:

Aren't most of the Mariner Blue Miatas in peoples garages on Jack stands waiting for parts? ::Clown::Quote:

You? You're complaining about whinning? I thought you loved the whine?! :burnrubr:Quote:

I appreciate the effort but it just ain't for me.
That was actually a fiberglass replica trailer that was available in the early 90s. I kind of wish I had one. :DQuote:

I'll call dibs on the racing seat!

Daaang... kind of disrespectful to part out a man's car before it's dead!Quote:

Did you get that parts source you were talking about? I'm wondering if the rear end on an automatic is the same gearing...
Nope... found another one. But I'll share with the class when it gets here. Look for the updates!Quote:
