Hot Footwell

Any suggestions on keeping radiant heat out of the footwell? I'm considering installing a radiant barrier under the carpet over and around the transmission tunnel - hoping to reduce foot well heat. I'd love to hear from anyone who is having hot foot syndrome on how you've reduced the heat levels.

I use the air conditioning, mostly. It's actually quite effective in the footwells.

AC for me too. I bought some reflective material @ Bobby Archer to put on the underside of the tranny tunnel, but it is still in the box :?

Part of the reason is the heat even comes in around the shifter :shock:
