Jack is going up on rates so I thought I would post.

Dear Motor Sport Enthusiast:

MotorSport Ranch is the first club of its kind - a Country Club for Sports Cars. This driving club has been in operation almost seven years now. Recent expansion has added a second track and even more garage/storage buildings. The concept is catching on - other clubs around the country have modeled themselves after ours, with even more on the way.

The Autobahn club in Jolliet, IL charges $25,000 to join. Even the new MotorSport Ranch in Houston charges $7,000 initiation and $150 dues per month.

A regular membership at the original MotorSport Ranch has been only $2,400 for initiation and $75 per month dues. But this is about to change: on January 1, 2006, the cost of a regular membership will increase to $3,400 (plus tax = $3,646.50), monthly dues will increase to $90 (plus tax = $96.53). This increase will apply to members joining after January 1, 2006. Current members will continue to pay the existing rates.

So if you or anyone you know has been contemplating joining the Ranch, you might want to consider it before the new year.

Crap. I figured it was going to happen sooner or later, but I had hoped to be in a position to buy one before it happened. :sad:
