So I probably won't be getting another Miata or a bike anytime soon. This is my new ride:

Congrats... looks good!
By the way, I moved this over to OTM Chat... ;)
Very nice car! I like the subtle changes they made since they released the RSX.
I've always heard that these can be very fast cars with simple bolt on modifications.
I had an Integra for a while and it was a fantastic car. It was practically indestructible. I'm sure you'll love your car.
Very nice Adam. Congrats.
Very nice, Adam.
I still wish Honduh would see fit to offer a limited slip in the RSX Type-S. It's got basically the same engine as the new Si, it's lighter, and it's soo much more attractive.
I've already noticed the need for the LSD ::Angel::Quote:

Very nice looking car Adam.
If you were looking for a bike and a Miata. How did you end up buying this fine machine?
Nice Adam!
So are you going to come out and auto x that car?
The new Si has the LSD, plus lots of other features that the Type S omits.Quote:

I just bought Titus' MPV, maybe he'll post a picture.
It also weighs 300 pounds more, has a dash out of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and has a face only a drunken mother could love. Other than that, I'm sure it's a great car. ::Bleh::Quote:

I think I've met the MPV ;)Quote:

I almost forgot, I went out to 407 on Saturday and let it stretch its legs a little. I never pushed it hard, but I was already going through many of my favorite turns at about the same speed as I had in any of my Miata's :burnrubr: It builds speed so much faster than the Miata, so exiting corners is something that I really need to get used to in it.
Looks like the Type-S is in GS... once it warms up and I get more miles, I may take it out a couple times to ER or, most likely, a S2k event. It's going take a lot to get used to FWD again though.
The K Series motor apparently responds very well to bolt-ons. I've often thought that a Type S with a Quaife and some bolt-ons would be a fun alternative to the WRXs in STX.
Yes, it responds extremely well to them.Quote:

You should see the tip on mine compared to an earlier Type-S, it looks very aftermarket-ish.
From what I've read, the "street" header isn't really all that great for the 05-06, and everybody recommends a "race" header. Getting a race header means that you need the Hondata, or K-Pro (similar to the Miata's LINK). K-Pro is $1000, Hondata is about $400 or so, but you also have to buy a 02-04 ECU and some other bit, which puts it up to about $1000 too.
I'm probably going to wait til Hondata releases something for the 05-06 before I start modifying. But then, would that be STX legal?
Also, I like the fact that right now, I can accelerate hard and not draw the attention of red & blue lights. The last Type-S I heard w/ an exhaust was pretty loud.
Looked at the rules, and STX does sound like a good class for the Type-S. STS was a little too restrictive with their tire limitations (215 max, the only Azeni's that fit are 225s) and no non-factory LSD.Quote:
