Same up here in. We were super busy at Starbucks today. 26 when I left the house this at 10 this morning, 25 when I got off at 730.
You guys get any precip?
There was some ice on the CRV's windshield this morning. I took one of the Miata street wheels to the tire shop for patching (found a nail in it), and the roads were a little bit damp but fine.
Went to Terrell for lunch. Roads were fine. Water drops on the hood of hercar would roll up and freeze. Looked like moles. :D
I had freezing drizzle on and off all day. Roads were ok all day. Glad I'm off tomorrow though.Quote:

little bit of precip fell at Pennington yesterday... hopefully it will be nice and dry today.
There were a few patches of very thin ice on the I30 overpasses around downtown Fort Worth - and it was a demolition derby, I've never seen so many accidents, so many flipped vehicles scattered all over the road. According to CNN (!) there were 190 accidents yesterday in Dallas county alone, of which 150 involved serious injury. I couldn't work out why there were so many accidents, as there wasn't really much ice!
Then, last night at about 11pm, I found out how all these accidents happen.... as we went over one of the icy overpasses that had been the scene of accidents all day, with freezing drizzle all around, three lads came past, racing, doing well over 90!! Idjuts!
Hey Bean,
Want to go on a run? :smurf: I'd bet it would be rather brisk driving the BUR today. Or is it Brrrrrr?
Just a bit on the chilly side... ;)Quote:

thats cuz it really IS that cold outside! :punchout: :D
Heh, I wonder if I was counted in those accidents, never follow an AWD/FWD car on ice, cause you'll be the one that spins out! Miatas are just too light on ice, my rear bumper took a beating on the way to Pennington on sunday~
So I'd say its valid advice to not go out in really bad weather.
