Pulling the Gauge hood on an NB

So how do you remove the gauge hood on a 2002 Miata? I don't see any screws (like on my 1992).

Sorry SAMMM but you can't use a SAW anywhere near Vivid either. :P

We don' need no stinkin' screws. :twisted:

Step 1 - Remove the black plastic piece that covers the upper half of the steering column that the turn signal stalks protrude out of. This piece just pops off.

Step 2 - Put your forefingers in the exposed bottom corners of the gauge hood, and pull towards you. The bottom half of the gauge hood should pull out. Repeat for top half, and it should be free. There are no screws or bolts that hold it in place, at least in my '99.
