Just a guess but I'd say you have an electrical short. ::Clown::

It's time for you to look at the wiring guides. ;)

DUUHHHH!:clap: I'm sorry it is the tail lights and the dash lights
Ooooooo kay....
I emailed you a copy of the wiring diagrams for your car.
If the dash/taillights are blowing fuses then you may want to double-check the rollbar install to see if you have a pinched wire when you reassembled the rear deck.

Sorry I was trying to be funny. Yeah I thought about the rollbar and don't have alot of time to tear it all apart due to having to go to work. But I went into the tunnels from behind and nothing was pinched that I could find I'll have to take the deck apart friday. I'm not very good with wiring diagrams but am I right in saying that it is more than likely the combo switch for the headlights? Cause I went out and tried to replace the fuse and the taillights work as long as you don't turn on the headlights. When you do the fuse blows.
You didn't happen to change out the radio or pull the center console did ya?? There is a "spare" wire near the shifter that will blow that fuse if finds ground. I had that happen on my '92!
We took the center console out when we did the rollbar. But I took it out and all the wires looked good nothing looked pinched or crimped. Are you talking about the one that goes to the e-brake?
There was one in mine that was loose, it was for the connection on the shifter if the car had been an automatic, to light up the shifter when ya turned the lights on.Quote:

Okay so I checked the ashtry light wire and it looks okay. I took the radio apart cause I saw on the pointy board where a dimmer wire for the radio was the problem didn't find anything except the wires I believe are for the headrest speakers was not in the crimp. I also looked and probed around the area of the fuse box and everything was connected and in place. I haven't tried turning them on yet due to running out of fuses. I'll get some more on my way to work and see if it will blow. If not it's on to taking the package tray out and seeing if I find anything.
I found it! It was the little rat bastard plug for the ashtray light. As soon as I unplugged the light it started working right.:D
:cheers: YAY!!!! ::Banana::
