Tire Rotation pattern

When you rotate your tires, do you go front to rear on the same side, or criss-cross the fronts going back? Just curious. :scratch: We here at Team Cheap Bastard as always looking for ways to extend the life of our tires! 8)

I rotate the autox tires based on wear... If they feather on the leading edges, I swap them side to side or criss-cross. Other than that, I've not had any uneven wear on the autox tires.

With toe-out on the front, I get some inner-edge wear on the fronts, so I swap front to back on the street tires. With most tires, they'll stay quieter longer if they only spin one direction. If they get noisy, I'll try them on the other side.

Thanks POS somebody had to say it. Thank God it wasn't me.

John Baker and I have labelled our rims R1, R2, L1, and L2. The 2's go in front in even months and in back in odd months. I find April, August, and November to be odd, and I think all will agree that December is the oddest. :shock:
