The best headlight upgrade I can think of for the NB would be to retro-fit some pop-ups off of an NA. I think it's possible... :D

I retrofitted euro projector housings and a real 4300k HID kit on the M3 and that was incredible. You might want to look into getting a HID kit for your car if you don't mind spending the money. Your best bet is to get a Philips kit and some of the BMW guys I know have had OK experiences with XTEC.

The 2001 and up also have a different front bumper cover since the headlight shape changed a bit.
