My car ('99) supposedly has had the hard-to-fill service bulletin done to it. When I put gas in it, if I don't put it in very slowly (and I mean very), the pump will click off.
Does anyone know how to verify if the fix was really done to it? I know there's a valve that gets replaced somewhere between the gas cap and tank, but that's all I know about it.

It's a pain in the ass, but you could theoretically check it. I know mine has the new valve as I watched it being put in. Didn't make a bit of difference. Where I buy gas makes a lot of difference.Quote:
