So I am thinking of picking up a recumbent bike to ride around for some excercise and fun. Does anyone have any experience riding these, or even have one I can check out. TIA

Why are you thinking recumbent? They cost more, weigh more, etc. You'd be better off with a traditional style bike, even if it's what's called a "comfort" bike, that has the handelbars higher so you don't have to lean over so far.
If you've recently ridden a traditional bike and were sore afterwords, it's because your body has to break in to the riding position (as well as breaking in the saddle). Just ride a couple times a week and for a week or two and you won't ever notice it again.
I'm thinking he's thinking outside the box... shift the paradigm you know!Quote:

I want one of these.

I could see Magma cruising the adult tricycle. ;)

I think I would rather have a short wheel base two wheel bike with a higher stance.
