Who's going?
http://www.autocross.com/er/
Wish I could go, but we've got guests in town this weekend. :(
Have fun!
I'll be there in G stock.
I'll be there in something. I think.
I'll be there. Too bad you can't pre-register to avoid the line.
I could probably do McDonalds or the bagel place beforehand if anyone else is going.
Got my new set of 710s mounted and balanced this morning before I headed for Houston!
I'm in!
I'm in also.
I'm in, I will be running in the tire class
Robert
I really think you should try another class Robert! ;)Quote:

Jerrett, I bump up to CSP for the tire class. If the car is built to sts2 rules you can bump to CSP but you can not combine the rules like wing and 99 motor. I run tire class because no one else wants to play in sts2. For the rapid pax I will be back in sts2.

I really liked the course, but I just could not stop understeering. I kept driving into turns (especially that one in the northeast corner) too dang fast. Oh well, there's always next time... which appears to be either ER at BMS or Porsche the the MineralRing. I will probably do the ER event.
It took me three runs to get the course down. I was the recipient of some profiling or prejudice or something. On my first run, the timing crew did not believe I could run a 21.813 s. on that course in my Escort. So they cried "Rerun". I was so hurt that I could only manage a 47.2 s. for the rest of the day. Their disbelief completely put me off my game and I could not repeat my 21 second blast. Bummer.
That was a good event! The course was one of the better ones I've seen at Pennington in a long time, with a decent length, good flow, and some technical elements that kept you thinking.
Good to see everyone out there again, and even better to find out that the old girl still has what it takes to win C Stock! Now someone just buy it from me!
Dennis R. took some good video of me. Miata content: I think that's the top of Mick's helmet on my 3rd run.
The smoking will be fixed this weekend. Hint: Yes ground control camber plates do need some WD40 to keep them from squeeking but if you spray on too much of it, it can get on a very hot down pipe. Ooooops.
