Can that be used with ITB?
I sometime have trouble keeping up. I was thinking ITB - Improved Touring B. But, I think I've got it now, individual throttle bodys.
Yes, the Bipes ACU is a nifty little black box that is wired in between the engine and the stock ecu. It enables you to pull (reduce ) the timing advance based on rpm, temperature, etc. In my naturally aspirated installation, I set my static timing on the engine at 18-20 degrees and then used the Bipes to reduce the advance at the upper rpm ranges. This allowed increase in low-end torque without the fear of high-end detonation. I think the FI boys use it in a similar manner, but since I don't have FI knowledge, I'll let sombody else explain that.
