Deals Gap revisited!

Guys, I just got back from a second trip to Tail of the Dragon, and I really wrung the car out this time...7 trips, back to back across the 11.5 miles of constant radius twists and turns, 90 miles worth! This time I caravaned with a couple of guys from up here, one in an S200, the other in a Honda of some sort, and without the spouse there yelling at me, I let'er loose... ran most of it in 3rd and 4th gear, and in one stretch, hit the rev limiter in 4th gear...I'm telling you guys, ya gotta come up and do it sometime...I'm going back next Tuesday...:drive: :burnrubr: :drive:

Oh yeah, the yellow S2000 guy, a good autox friend, found he was no match for the M'Speed in that environment...::BaHump::

I'm about 225 miles, so it's not a bad day-trip. I had covered 570 miles round trip...worth every mile.:D

Yeah, I've been retired so long now, my get out of jail card has long expired...assuming I ever had one in the first place.;)

I know you hear the call of the asphalt... But be sure to take a hike through Joyce Kilmer on one of your trips through the gap. It's a nice hike.
