Posting this for a friend. He's looking for a car, and a Miata is high on his list. He has $10,000 cash to spend, so I thought I'd post here in case anyone sees a good deal come along. I'm thinking his budget will put him into a clean 2001-03, depending on condition and mileage.
This car needs to be mechanically sound and preferably stock or dang close to it. It will see a LOT of highway miles. (I know, I know...) I don't believe the 6-speed gets much better mileage than the 5-speed, does it?
