91 with hardtop

Hey folks, just a couple of miles from where I live there is a very nice 91 Miata with hardtop for sale. Stopped and walked around it, got the phone number, called the owner, and found it has 95K on it. It is a two owner, both females, has a hard-dog hoop, leather covered seats, red paint which appears to be in excellent condition, and she claims new timing belt and service as required, uses no oil, leaks no fluids...appears to be very clean. Asking price, including hardtop, 5,000. I am going to meet her this evening and check it out further. What do you guys think a fair offer would be assuming it is as good as it looks?

Hmmm, had to delay typing while I watched the car, er truck, chase from Fort Worth to Rockwall, where the female driver of the stolen truck jumped out and jumped over the bridge after both front tires were flattened...:burnrubr:

That sounds like a fair price... provided it's in good working condition.

$3K for the car, $1k for the hard top. I'd be maxed out at $4K. (I do good math.)
