We were both revving at each other at the light (really mature of me :D) and we both launched pretty hard, both of us were squealing across the intersection. I know when someone is really trying and when they're toying with me (years of experience :(). He was trying. I took him off the launch (and went across the entire intersection sideways with my tires smoking, the stayed ahead through most of second but he then started reeling me in, albeit slowly. Fun run.
