More like Ford's idea for keeping their Australian-to-US transplants from going the way of the Monaro/GTO (RIP).
Make it a pick-up and call it the ...wait for it...
Mustang Ranch-ero!
Wrong... just wrong.
oh dear lord no! That's hideous. And Ford can't figure out why their sales are low and their plants are closing down?
This, gentlemen, is The Way Forward!

It would be better to make a seperate model Station Wagon and call it either the Fairlane or the Country Squire. I'd vote for Fairlane.

As good as a pig wearing lip stick! This is new low for Ford. Unfortunately, loooong way from the bottom. I hope it does not take Mazda with it. May be the best ever happen to Ford is to have Mazda buying Ford!
Mustang and wagon in the same breath??? Too twisted for color TV.

Eh, the Daytona was never a pickup and the Charger was never a 4 door. I could see them doing this and I could also see it selling well due to the number of idiots in this country.
According to this week's Autoweek, Ford has catagorically denied a four door Mustang. However they are looking into four door cars using the Mustang platform. Their first concept is the Lincoln MKR.
