Broke Motor Mounts??

Is there an easy way to check to see if you have broken motor mounts on your Miata?

The wife is home this week so I swiped her car this AM the shifter seemed to move around a bit more than my '99 as you would modulate the throttle.

I really couldn't tell until I took them out. I guess the shifter was pretty sloppy, but I didn't really have anything to gage it on, it was always that way.

It's much better now. :D

Easy? The only thing I could think of was what you mentioned at my place... and that would be to lift the engine and check the mounts as if you were replacing them.

With a floor jack and an appropriately-sized piece of wood?

See how far you can rock each engine by hand?

Ask Bean, they are marked for him at 74.00 plus shipping to Frisco from Plano (25.00) Why does he need them?...I don't really know unless he is going to throw them into the box with all the other BUR parts.::Banana::
